Introduction¶
Role access
Only managers and administrators have access to this feature. Managers are restricted to their own category and do not have permissions to all the indicated functionalities.
The purpose of this section, reserved for managers and administrators, is to facilitate greater control, supervision and organization of the various sections and categories within the platform, allowing for more efficient and structured management of the available resources.
To go to the "Administration" panel and see the functionalities, press the button
Upon entering, this main window will appear:
Each of the sections serves for:
- Home: Button used to return to the user interface and access virtual desktops again.
- Users: Management of users, groups, and categories, including creation, editing, migration, and access policy configuration.
- Domains: Management of virtual desktops, templates, deployments, and storage, including monitoring and bulk operations.
- Bookables: Management of GPU reservations, priorities, and scheduling for graphic resources.
- Recycle Bin: Management of deleted items with options for recovery and automatic cleanup.
- Infraestructure: Management of hypervisors, GPU configuration, infrastructure, and storage pools.
- Metrics: Monitoring of platform resource usage and analytics.
- Downloads: Download of predefined cloud resources from IsardVDI, such as desktops, ISOs, templates, and viewers.
- Notifications: Management of system notification templates.
- Config: Global system configuration including schedulers, viewers, authentication, and maintenance.
- About: Information about the IsardVDI installation, current version, and useful links.
