Introduction

Roles with access

Only administrators have access to all categories within the platform. Managers are limited to their own category.

To learn more about deployments and all their features at the user level, you can refer to the following documentation: User Manual - Deployments

Admin deployments

Deployments created by users can be managed from this section. You can view information, delete deployments, and change ownership permissions.

The columns show the following data:

  • Name: Name of the deployment.
  • Desktop Name: Name of the desktops in the deployment.
  • Owner: Category to which the deployment owner belongs, their group, and username.
  • Co-owners: Other users who are also owners of the deployment. For more information, see: Permissions
  • Perms: This column indicates if the user has permissions to recreate the deployment.
  • Desktops: Total number of desktops associated with the deployment.
  • Running: Number of desktops in the deployment that are running.
  • Visible: Indicates if the deployment is visible.
  • Last Access: Date and time of the last access to the deployment.

  • Hardware: You can also view information about how the desktops in the deployment are configured, such as CPU, memory, networks, etc.

  • Target users: Groups and users with whom the deployment has been shared.

Permissions

To modify the permissions of a deployment, there are two available options:

  • Change owner : Allows you to change the owner of the deployment. When you click the button, a dialog box appears where you must indicate the new owner:

    New owner

If the new owner belongs to a different group or category than the previous owner, the domains will also be updated.

  • Change co-owners : This option allows you to add more than one user as an owner. This makes it possible to share the same deployment configuration interface and manage it among several users.

    Co-owners

Although the deployment is shared with several owners, only the main owner can change the owner, add new ones, or delete the deployment. The main owner's information will continue to appear in the Owner column, and co-owners will be shown in the Co-owners column.

Delete

To delete deployments, there are two options:

  • Individual deletion

The delete icon , located to the right of each row, allows you to delete the deployment and, therefore, the desktops that belong to it.

  • Bulk deletion

To delete several deployments at once, use the button . Before clicking it, you must select the deployments one by one by simply clicking on them.

Deleted deployments

Deleted deployments do not disappear permanently, but go to the recycle bin, located in the Recycle bin section. The time they remain in the bin before being permanently deleted depends on its configuration (an action only an administrator can).
