Roles with access
Only administrators have access to this feature.
To access this section, click the button: {width="12%"}
Then click the following button:
You will be taken to this page:
Here you will find two sections. The top one displays a graph of the desktop logs. In the lower section, the logs will be shown in more detail.
What are Logs?
Logs or records are files or entries generated, in this case by desktops, when they start, shut down, or perform any other action. In Isard, only the startup logs are easily accessible.
Logs¶
In this section you can see a graphical representation of the logs.
This graph shows the amount of desktop startup instances that are recorded daily. Each entry corresponds to the booting of a virtual desktop within the platform.
You have several functions available with this chart:
By default, it displays as a bar chart. Pressing the first button next to the chart changes it to a line graph:
The last button downloads a .png image of the currently displayed chart. The image will be downloaded with the name Daily starting_time items.png
Users¶
In this second section you’ll find a table, where the displayed data matches the upper chart.
In the table, you will find different sections:
All login events will be shown here, regardless of user or category, ordered by time.
It includes the following columns:
- Logged time: Indicates the exact date and time when the session started.
- User name: Shows the name of the user who started the session.
- User group: Displays the group the user belongs to.
- User category: Indicates the category the user is part of.
Here, login events are grouped by username. If your platform has many users, this—along with the selected time range—may impact page loading time.
- Count: Shows the total number of session starts for that user.
- User name: Displays the username.
- User group: Shows the user group.
- User category: Indicates the user's category.
